The Prevail Group of Companies in Dubai has announced a USD 20,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of a woman it accuses of disappearing with USD 1 million.
In a public notice, the company names Sheila Calaguio Alfonso and claims she has “vanished with USD 1 million.”
The statement further alleges that she has since exited Dubai to the Philippines, where she is believed to be staying following the alleged offence.
The company says the case has been escalated to international law-enforcement bodies. According to the notice, the matter is currently under investigation by Interpol and other relevant international security agencies.
Efforts are underway to track her movements across borders.
Prevail Group appealed for public assistance, urging anyone with information to come forward. The statement said a reward of USD 20,000 will be paid to anyone who provides information leading to her whereabouts.
A contact number listed in the notice encourages tip-offs as the investigation continues.
