Authorities in Harare have apprehended two individuals in connection with two unrelated murder cases that took place on Monday, August 11, 2025.
In the first case, officers in Mabelreign arrested 27-year-old Tinashe Turamai for allegedly stabbing his wife, Marita Nyamunda (21), to death. Reports indicate that Turamai used a kitchen knife to stab Nyamunda in the stomach and neck following accusations of infidelity.
In a separate incident in Kuwadzana 5, police took 42-year-old Bigboy Majenje into custody after he allegedly broke into a residence. During the break-in, the homeowner, Amos Pearson (58), confronted the intruder, resulting in a violent confrontation. Pearson succumbed to injuries sustained during the encounter.
