Prophet Uebert Angel, the founder of the Good News Church, has issued a striking prophetic statement that has sparked widespread discussion and reactions on social media in Zimbabwe.
In a recent video clip circulating online, Angel stated:
“I saw two graves… if it burns Zanu PF, it burns Zanu PF. They will target me… but my prophecy does not miss. There will be a prophetic word for Zimbabwe on Thursday.”
The comment, delivered during what appears to be a sermon or prophetic session, refers to an unspecified event or consequence symbolised by “two graves” and suggests potential backlash from Zimbabwe’s ruling party, Zanu PF, if the prophecy implicates or affects it negatively.
Angel emphasised the inevitability of his words coming to pass and teased a dedicated prophetic message for the nation scheduled for Thursday.
The statement quickly drew mixed responses from online commentators.
Macdonald Mutopa criticised media handling of the clip, saying:
“The media is funny, of all that was said there, you cut the video into ‘If it burns ZANU-PF it burns ZANU-PF’, only?”
Wilson Muchenje dismissed the statement’s validity, commenting:
“Hapana chiporofita apa kana… He knows kuti most of Zimbos, they don’t know different ye structure ye real prophecy, and mere- intelligencia.”
Clifford Mavima took a humorous tone, writing: “Kkkkkkk kwanzi i saw 2 graves. kuporofita kwamazuva ano kwava genetically modified.”
The remarks have fueled online debates about prophecy, politics, and media editing in Zimbabwe, where Angel, a prominent but often controversial figure known for his international ministry and past political associations, remains a polarising voice.
No further details on the nature of the “two graves” or the upcoming Thursday prophecy were provided in the available clip, and reactions suggest anticipation or scepticism ahead of the promised revelation.
