Edith “Getty” Majama, Supporters’ President of Scottland FC, has hailed her team’s debut season as “unbelievable” after the club clinched the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Championship.

Speaking after the historic triumph, Majama expressed pride and gratitude for being part of the club’s journey.

“From our very first season in the PSL Championship League, we came, we fought, and we took the trophy,” Majama said. “I am deeply grateful and honoured to lead this incredible family as the Supporters’ President. It has been a journey of growth and learning, and I am so proud of what we have achieved together.”

She credited Honourable Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya for his vision and support, saying his faith in the club made her leadership role possible, even in a space where women are rarely represented.

“To the man who made it all possible, Honourable Pedzai Scott Sakupwanya, thank you for your vision, faith, and for giving me the chance to lead,” she added.

Majama also applauded the technical team, players, and supporters, emphasizing that the victory was a collective effort.

“This victory is ours. I am beyond proud, humbled, and inspired to keep pushing for more. Champions from day one”

Scottland FC’s immediate rise to the top of Zimbabwean football has been described as one of the most inspiring stories in recent years. The club now looks forward to representing the country in continental competitions, with supporters optimistic about continued success.
