The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) has reportedly taken into custody Chiredzi West Member of Parliament Darlington Chiwa over allegations of misusing Constituency Development Funds (CDF).
Details regarding the exact amount of money allegedly involved were not immediately available at the time of publication.
Sources from Masvingo province indicate that Chiwa was arrested on Saturday shortly after leaving a disciplinary hearing at the ZANU PF party offices in the city.
