Father Hospitalized After Identifying Body of Murdered Bolt Driver Isaac Satlat

by Bustop TV News

The family spokesperson, Solomon Izang Ashoms, says the family is devastated by the murder of 22‑year‑old Nigerian national e‑hailing driver Isaac Satlat, who was strangled and killed after picking up passengers in Pretoria West on 11 February 2026 and later found abandoned with his hijacked vehicle in Atteridgeville.

His father was hospitalised for dangerously high blood pressure after identifying the body, and his mother and siblings in Nigeria will see the body once it’s repatriated.

He stresses this is a crime, not a xenophobia issue, and urges people not to create tension.

Isaac is remembered as a young, talented, sociable man involved in church and modelling, and the family hopes the arrests will help answer the question of why this happened.

The suspects appeared briefly in Pretoria Magistrate’s Court this morning, and the case has been postponed to 23 February 2026, with the accused facing murder and carjacking charges.
