Harare, Zimbabwe – A young Zimbabwean, Genius S. Mucheti, has been selected to join 50 emerging leaders from across Africa for an intensive faith-based leadership development program set to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from July 16 to August 20, 2025.
Mucheti will participate in the Navigators Graduate Orientation Program (GOP), a regional initiative focused on developing Christian leaders equipped to live out and share their faith across the continent. The program emphasizes spiritual growth, biblical understanding, leadership development, and practical application of faith in various African contexts.
“This is a rare and strategic opportunity to be part of a movement shaping the spiritual future of Africa,” Mucheti said. “The program is not only about learning but about being transformed and joining a community of leaders committed to positive change.”
Participants will undergo five weeks of intensive training, including workshops on scripture engagement, evangelism across cultures, personal development, and life skills. Each attendee will also develop a personalized growth plan and be integrated into a broader mentoring and accountability network after the program ends.
While grateful for the opportunity, Mucheti is appealing for financial support to cover the US$1,500 needed for travel and partial program fees. He is asking well-wishers, individuals, and faith communities to contribute toward his participation.
