Zim, SA Police Appeal Information on dead Jail Bird

A joint task force between the Zimbabwean and South African police is appealing for information to identify a Bulawayo based man who died whilst incarcerated in the jail in the foreign country.

Provincial spokesperson Inspector Nomalanga Msebele said the force is currently asking for information from members of the public for anyone with information of Milton Gumbo (32) who has been in an South Afric an mortuary for the past nine months.

However, Inspector did not divulge information related to Gumbo’s death while behind bars.

“The deceased was incarcerated at Nelspruit Correctional Centre, Mpumalanga, South Africa and passed away on 17 September 2024 while incarcerated.

“The now deceased is said to have been born on 25 August 1992 in Bulawayo and was staying in Luveve together with his brother Crymore Gumbo,” said Inspector Msebele.
