Olinda Chapel Named in Anonymous Social Media Allegations

by Bustop TV News

An anonymous letter circulating on social media has made a series of unverified allegations against social media personality Olinda Chapel, raising claims about alleged substance abuse and behavioural concerns.

The author of the letter, who claims to be a long-time acquaintance of Chapel dating back to her marriage to Richard Matambanadzo, alleges that Olinda has for some time been struggling with cocaine and opioid use. The writer claims these alleged substance issues have affected her behaviour and mental well-being.

In the letter, the anonymous source expresses concern over what they describe as noticeable changes in Chapel’s conduct, including fluctuating energy levels, emotional instability and erratic public behaviour, which they claim can be observed in some of her past live social media broadcasts.

The author further alleges that Chapel has previously been involved in public disputes with several individuals and claims that her recent controversies, including statements involving senior political figures, are consistent with what they describe as a long-standing pattern of confrontational behaviour.

The letter also makes claims of paranoia, referencing a recent incident in which Chapel alleged that state security agents assaulted her — an assertion the anonymous writer dismisses as implausible, though no independent verification is provided.

In addition, the author levels accusations of alleged financial misconduct in the United Kingdom, including claims of involvement in care sector and contract fraud alongside unnamed associates. These allegations remain unproven, and no evidence is provided in the letter to substantiate them.

The anonymous writer concludes by urging those close to Chapel to intervene, suggesting that she seek professional assistance, including rehabilitation, citing concern for her health and safety.

As of publication, Olinda Chapel has not publicly responded to the claims, and the allegations remain uncorroborated. No official statements have been issued by authorities in either Zimbabwe or the United Kingdom regarding the accusations contained in the letter.
