A tree fell this afternoon along Leopold Takawira Avenue, crashing onto a moving vehicle and injuring the driver.
Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and rushed the injured person to hospital. The extent of the injuries could not be immediately confirmed.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) had not issued an official statement on the matter at the time of writing.
