HARARE – Zimbabwean upcoming dancehall artist from Epworth, AK 47 Mad Kento, popularly known as Ghetto Teacher, is set to be a major contender at this year’s Zimdancehall Harare Cup Clash, scheduled for 30 August at the City Sports Centre.
Born Kelvin Chiyangwa on 14 August 1996 in Harare, Ghetto Teacher showcased his talent on 1 August while registering for the competition, impressing fans and fellow artists alike.
In an interview with Star FM, he expressed confidence ahead of the event. “I am ready to participate, and those competing against me should get ready,” he said.

Ghetto Teacher also warned upcoming artists who use the names of established dancehall stars such as Ngwere Lite, Ngwere YekwaMutoko, and Young Kholangale. “Those who are using the names of big Zimdancehall artists, I am ready for you. Get ready for serious competition; I will have no mercy,” he stated.
This year’s Cup Clash winner will receive a stand-to-stay, a trophy, and a cash prize. Ghetto Teacher says he is confident that his distinctive style and high-energy performances will help him claim the top spot.
