Harare’s high-density suburbs of Highfield, Glen View, and Budiriro were abuzz yesterday as several street evangelism sessions were held to mobilize support for the upcoming Today’s Woman Conference, set for September 4–6 at Glamis Arena.
The event, which brings together women from different walks of life, will provide a platform to exchange ideas on business opportunities, investment prospects, marketing strategies, and spiritual growth through prayer and deliverance sessions.
This year’s conference will feature Visionary Archbishop Professor Eunor Guti as the special guest.
Speaking during the street outreach, Apostle Mercyline Mutarisi, well known for her national evangelism tours, highlighted the significance of the gathering, describing it as a transformational encounter for women. She said the conference would empower participants both spiritually and economically.
“Today’s Woman Conference will be a life-changing opportunity. Women will not only receive deliverance but also acquire practical knowledge on how to grow their businesses through the power of Christ,” Apostle Mutarisi said.
During her preaching sessions, she also prayed for peace and prosperity in the suburbs, urging young people to shun drug and substance abuse and calling on women to lead positive change within their families and communities.
The Today’s Woman platform, founded in 2007 by Christian women from various denominations, hosts its conferences every two years. This year’s edition is expected to draw powerful international speakers and over 30,000 delegates from across the world.
