President Mnangagwa has called on Zanu PF leaders to prioritize the needs of the people and ensure that the party’s leadership is accountable, transparent, and responsive to the demands of citizens.
Speaking at the 382nd Ordinary Session of the Politburo, the President, who also serves as the party’s First Secretary, urged party structures to align with Zimbabwe’s national development goals and Vision 2030.
“I challenge all party members to walk alongside our people and always seek to respond to their needs,” President Mnangagwa emphasized.
He stressed the importance of coordinated efforts at all levels of the party, from the grassroots to the Politburo, in driving national development and supporting the country’s transformation into an upper-middle-income economy as outlined in Vision 2030.

“Zanu PF, as a revolutionary party, has a vital role to play in shaping the future of Zimbabwe for the benefit of its people,” he continued. “We must remain committed to honest leadership and guiding our citizens in achieving their development goals.”
The President also recognized the efforts of Zimbabweans nationwide, applauding their patriotism, national consciousness, and resilience against efforts to destabilize the country. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to maintaining peace, unity, and progress.
President Mnangagwa concluded by urging Zanu PF members to show exemplary leadership and remain steadfast in their efforts to guide both the party and the government in fulfilling the nation’s development aspirations.
