Suspected Wheelbarrow Thief Killed in Brutal Attack

Harare police have launched a manhunt for a suspect who murdered his victim after accusing him of stealing a wheelbarrow.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the tragic accident occurred in Damofalls on 15 June 2025.

“Police in Harare are investigating a case of murder in which Cyprian Muradzi (25) died.

“The suspect, only identified as Godwin alias Bogus, assaulted the victim with open hands and booted feet on the head after accusing him of stealing a wheelbarrow,” said Commissioner Nyathi.
