Nyika Yedu YeZimbabwe: The Land of Our Mothers and Fathers
Nyika yedu yeZimbabwe ndimo makatazvarirwa ana Amai nana Baba. Ndiyo nyika yakarwirwa neropa revarwi verusununguko. Ndiyo nyika inoda kuvakwa, kwete kuputswa.
Zimbabwe is not just a country—it is our inheritance, our duty, our pride. And for that reason, it is painful to see individuals like Cde Blessed “Bombashell” Geza calling for a national stayaway on the 22nd and 23rd of April, pretending to be champions of the people while in fact, deepening their suffering.
A Patriot’s Duty Is to Build, Not Destroy
Let’s be clear: Zimbabweans do not need to be told to work hard. Hard work is the backbone of our society—from rural farmers to informal traders, nurses, teachers, and construction workers. They get up every day not because of social media campaigns, but because they believe in the value of work, survival, and building a better future.
A call to “stay away” is not a call for justice—it is a call for chaos. It is an insult to the thousands who wake up daily to earn an honest living, despite the challenges.
Clout-Chasing Is Not Patriotism
Cde Geza, with extended respect, your behaviour dishonours the uniform of a comrade. Comrades are not entertainers seeking clout—they are custodians of unity and discipline. Your failed demonstration was rejected not because people fear you, but because people recognize empty slogans when they hear them.
You cannot mock leadership, incite division, and then claim to be the voice of the people. A true comrade builds—he doesn’t burn.
Respect Vana Vevhu and the Leadership
Your recent attacks on President Emmerson Mnangagwa are not “speaking truth to power”—they are reckless and disrespectful.
Real patriots understand that critique must come with integrity, not personal bitterness. You do not unite a nation by attacking its leadership. You weaken it.
Leadership must always be held accountable, but never insulted without cause. That’s not patriotism. That’s provocation.
Stop Slandering Those Building the Nation
Your baseless accusations against patriotic entrepreneurs such as Dr. Kuda Tagwirei, Wicknell Chivayo, Obey Chimuka, and Scott Sakupwanya are equally shameful.
Dr. Tagwirei has invested significantly in key sectors of our economy. Wicknell Chivayo is empowering communities through clean energy.
Obey Chimuka is creating employment through massive infrastructure projects. Scott Sakupwanya is an inspiration to thousands of youths from humble beginnings.
These are builders. Visionaries. Doers. Instead of celebrating their success, you throw stones—because it is easier to destroy than to create
Say No to Stayaways, Say Yes to Progress
At a time when Zimbabwe needs unity, focus, and effort, you choose to campaign for silence and shutdowns. That is not activism—it is sabotage. The economy cannot recover if people are told to stop working. Zimbabwe will not rise on hashtags—it will rise on sweat, sacrifice, and unity.
Cde Geza, redirect your energy. Use your voice to bring people together, not tear them apart. Be a real comrade—one who puts Zimbabwe first.
Zimbabwe belongs to all of us. Let’s build it together.
Say no to stayaways. Say yes to progress.
