Employees at ZFC Limited, a leading fertilizer manufacturing company, have raised serious concerns over salary arrears dating back to October 2024, alleging financial mismanagement within the company’s leadership.

Speaking anonymously for fear of victimization ZFC , a workers’ revealed that employees have gone six months without pay, with a significant portion of their salaries being allocated in ZiG (Zimbabwe Gold)—a currency that they claim is not being disbursed.

“Enough is enough. This company must be exposed. It has been six months without pay, and ZFC Limited’s finance executive is allegedly using company funds for personal expenses while workers suffer,” said the source.

Employees also allege that statutory deductions for policies and benefits are reflected on their payslips, yet the payments are not being made, causing their insurance policies to lapse.

National Employment Council (NEC) officials and ZFC Limited management were not immediately available for comment.

However, workers are calling for intervention, urging authorities to investigate the company’s Aspindale factory, where they claim key information about the financial crisis can be uncovered.

One affected worker encouraged labor unions to visit the premises, stating, “If you pose as a union representative at the Aspindale factory, employees will openly share their grievances as they are desperate for help.”

The situation at ZFC Limited reflects broader concerns about salary delays and financial irregularities affecting many workers across Zimbabwe, as the economy continues to face uncertainty.

This is a developing story.
