Exiled former Zanu PF politburo member Jonathan Moyo has ridiculed President Emmerson Mnangagwa claiming that only a census can account for his biological children.
The former cabinet minister had initially criticised Mnangagwa for his ‘inappropriate’ nationalism strategies that have worsened the country’s economic problems.
Moyo said that while ordinary Zimbabweans were struggling to make a living Mnangagwa and his family together with his ‘many’ offspring are living large.
“MNANGAGWA’S TRANSACTIONAL NATIONALISM has gone too far. It’s cruel that Zimbabweans & their compatriots in the barracks & camps must live from hand to mouth, purportedly due to sanctions, while Mnangagwa, “#TheGameChanger”, and his vast families & countless kids live extra-large,” reads Moyo’s tweet.
However, responding to someone in the comment section who had requested to know how many children President ED has, the ex-cabinet minister said:
“To get an accurate number of Mnangagwa’s kids would require a census.”
Mnangwagwa reportedly has nine kids, six with his late wife Jayne Matarise and three with Auxillia Mnangagwa.
Nevertheless, in the past years, they are various reports that have emerged concerning how many children does president Mnangagwa has.
At some point in time, Moyo said ED has 41 children, while the former first lady Grace ridiculed the 79-year-old president claiming he had 70 kids.
