Opposition leader Hebert Chamuka  loses sister in scotch cart accident

Opposition leader Herbert Chamuka’s sister, Maria Chamuka, died in a tragic accident today in Gokwe

Chamuka (pictured) is the leader of the opposition party, People’s Unity Party (PUP).

According to Chamuka, Maria was traveling by scotch cart to fetch water when the cart hit a stump and overturned, killing her instantly.

Chamuka expressed his sorrow at the loss of his supportive sister.

“I am utterly disheartened by the passing of Maria. She was supportive in every aspect of my life, and her death has left a big gap that will be impossible to fill.

“Maria’s death is a heavy blow to our family,” Chamuka lamented.
