She Now Makes a U-Turn: "I Did Not Mean the Truth, It Was a Strategy" – Andile Sola Responds to Backlash

After igniting a social media firestorm, Andile Sola, popularly known as Queen Mother, has made a surprising about-turn.

The 23-year-old posted a new video on her Facebook page, claiming that her recent controversial statement, in which she appeared alongside DJ Sparks, saying she recruits Ama2K into s@x work, was not a confession but rather a calculated “strategy” to gain followers.

The viral video drew widespread condemnation across platforms, with many accusing Sola of promoting exploitation and misleading the youth. But in her latest post, she dismisses the backlash, saying her comments were part of a deliberate plan to spark engagement and boost her social media presence.

“I did not mean what I said to be taken as the truth,” she explained. “It was just a strategy. Guys, I know all of you have seen my video on YouTube and other social media platforms.

It was not anything serious; we were just joking to make people laugh. But it seems some people took offence, and for that, I’m truly sorry. Please do not hurt me. I love you all.”

“Did anyone really think what I said in the interview was serious? It was not. I did not mean any of it. Now look, I’m a celeb! You made me trend, guys. Thank you for that.”

She added, “Look at me. How could someone like me be involved in trafficking? I’m just a small girl. That’s all I wanted to say.”

Her U-turn has only deepened the debate, raising fresh questions about influencer responsibility, digital clout-chasing, and the blurred lines between performance and real-life impact in the age of social media.
