Socialite and businessman Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure first collided with a Honda Fit driving in the opposite direction before veering off the road and hitting a tree.
He was driving his top of the range Rolls Royce Wraith just after 5am Sunday.
A visit to the scene of the accident showed that Ginimbi lost control of his vehicle after the initial accident before crashing into a tree on the roadside at very high speed. The engine of his vehicle dislodged and landed a short distance from the tree.
Sources at the scene stated that a guard who arrived first managed to pull Ginimbi out of the vehicle and placed him by the roadside, but the car suddenly burst into flames before he could save passengers that were screaming from the car.
