Musician Jah Prazyah who is set for a double album launch this weekend said the idea for the double albums is to cater for everyone.
Jah Prazyah has a section of fans which follow his traditional music and some who love his afro pop style, hence he made two albums.
On Friday Jah Prazyah will launch his first album Chiremerera before launching Maita Baba in Bulawayo on Saturday.
“We are launching two albums- Maita Baba which is an afro pop album and Chiremerera a traditional one. This way we have everything for everyone. We are ready for the launch and tickets are now available for those who want to buy in advance.
I urge people to come in their numbers for both launches because we are not making a show on those nights but we are creating moments that will live forever in your hearts,” said Jah Prayzah.
Meanwhile the artist has released his first song off the album Chiremerera dubbed Sarungano featuring Feli Nandi.
The song- Sarungano which aptly means at the beginning features songstress Feli Nandi talks of a love story which ended right at the beginning.
The video was directed by Vusa Blaqs, in South Africa.
His last album release was in 2021 with Gwara which featured songs such as Bvumbamira, Takarasima, yeredzi. Boi boi , Mhaka and Ndichiyamwa.
