In a senseless fit of rage, a Nyanga man axed his co-worker to death over a cigarette lighter.
National Police Spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the development, saying a manhunt has since been launched.
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Revai Guri (38) in who allegedly struck his co-worker, Jao Antonio Pangurai (23), once with an axe over a cigarette lighter at a farm in Nyapundo Village, Nyanga on 17 April 2025.
