Blessed Geza Refutes Arrest Rumors, Teases Upcoming

The Zimbabwean government has dismissed war veteran Blessed ‘Bombshell’ Geza’s recent calls for protests, labeling them as baseless and warning against any attempts to incite unrest.

Geza, who previously opposed the proposal to extend President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term to 2030, resurfaced on social media on Tuesday after a period of hiding. His latest statements have raised concerns over potential efforts to destabilize the country.

In a response to Geza’s remarks, Dr. Jenfan Muswere, Minister of Information, Publicity, and Broadcasting Services, reiterated that the government would not tolerate any violent demonstrations. He emphasized that Zimbabweans should disregard what he called Geza’s “delusional rumblings,” and assured citizens that there would be no room for such disruptive actions.

“We want to assure the nation that violent demonstrations will not be tolerated. Zimbabweans should ignore these divisive calls and stay focused on national progress,” said Dr. Muswere in an interview with ZBC News.

He further accused Geza of fostering division and warned that authorities would soon take action against him. “Geza and his associates are attempting to sow discord, but their efforts will not succeed. He is a fugitive from justice, and his inflammatory remarks will be addressed swiftly.”

The government official also made it clear that Geza’s claims, particularly those about representing war veterans, were unfounded. “He has no legal or moral standing to speak on behalf of others. His statements are baseless and self-serving.”

Dr. Muswere concluded by stating that law enforcement agencies are on high alert and will act decisively to prevent any efforts to destabilize Zimbabwe. “Those who seek to disrupt the unity of the nation will face consequences. The history of Zimbabwe cannot be rewritten by individuals with ulterior motives.”
