A Mabvuku crystal methamphetamine (crystal meth) peddler will spend the next three months in prison.
The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPA) said Frudrick Mzilawempi (38) was convinced of unlawful possession of dangerous drugs.
He was sentenced to six months imprisonment by the Harare Magistrates Court with three months suspended on condition that he does not a similar offence within the next five years.

The court ruled that he will serve three months effective.
“Mzilawempi was arrested on 13 January 2025, at Hunters Shopping Centre in Mabvuku after CID Drugs and Narcotics acting on a tip-off found him in possession of 6.59 grams crystal meth, a dangerous and illegal substance.
“He was seated in a vehicle when officers conducted a search and recovered the drugs from his trouser pocket. A field test confirmed the substance to be crystal meth, and its street value was estimated at USD 70.
“Mzilawempi had no legal jurisdiction for possessing narcotics.
