A Beitbridge man has been arrested after he was found cultivating 210 plants of marijuana.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the suspect was nabbed on 5 June 2025.
“CID Drugs and Narcotics acted on received information and arrested Awelani Ndlovu (26) at Driehoek village, Makhado in connection with the unlawful cultivation of 210 plants of Dagga,” said Commissioner Nyathi.
In a related matter, he said on 4 June 2025, Featherstone police on patrol arrested a man in possession of 12.5 kilogrammes of marijuana stashed in a car he was travelling in.
The suspect was identified as Brian Bhobho (30) at the 103 kilometre peg along the Harare-Masvingo road.
