34 Year-Old Man Jailed For Having Intimacy With A Minor

611 A 34-year-old man from Village Dhibha, Chief Samambwa, Zhombe, has been brought before the Kwekwe Magistrates’ Court for having s@xual intercourse with a minor. The offender had s@xual intercourse on multiple occasions with a 14 year old female juvenile who is his wife’s cousin between May 8 and 13, 2025. The victim had dropped out of school so that she could take care of the offender’s wife, who was ill. The offender and the victim ended up living as husband and wife. The offence came to light when the offender bragged about the situation in the village, leading to police investigations and the arrest of the offender. He was convicted and sentenced to 4 years’ imprisonment with 1 year suspended for 5 years.
