Top Zimbabwean artists have jumped to Sabastian “Saba” Magacha’s defense after his nude video leaked.
In the footage which is making rounds on social media platforms, the gospel chanter revealed his manhood during a video call with his ex-girlfriend.
While the “1+1” hitmaker was unreachable the whole of yesterday, his fellow artists have taken to social media to offer their moral support.
This publication compiled some solidarity messages where artists engaged their fans by supporting Saba.
Songstress, Hope Masike took to her Facebook page to try and calm the storm.
“And after one pic with his chakuti, he is loved even more! Ane lucky hake; I even have female fans asking me if I am friends with him. Aaaaah! These things have no fomula. He is my brother so that pic or no pic I still love my brother in music and Christ. Let’s just remember not to judge each each! Fellow Gospel artist, Mudiwa had some good words to say to the artist.
He tagged Saba in a post where he said, “Saba Magacha you are still my hero, God called gospel icon, i danced to your hits, got ministered to by your songs. We dont Forget.”
Fellow Gospel artist and comedienne Tyra ‘Madam Boss’ Chikocho quoted one of Saba’s songs before footing it with a solidarity message.
“Tinaye Mwari Weminana, one of my best song from Saba Magacha. Which one is your best song from Saba Magacha. It is Well my Brother. Let’s show him some love,” Chikocho said.
According to unconfirmed reports, Saba’s picture was leaked by his former lover’s jilted husband.
Internet users are likening his manhood to the ‘bhosvo’ mentioned in one of his hit tracks, Mwari weminana where he sings about blowing the trumpet
