Just like his predecessor former late President Robert Mugabe who at every opportunity he got to would take a pot shot at the West, President Emerson Mnangagwa seems to be doing the same.
Addressing mourners while burying national heroes , Lt Gen Edzai Absolom Chanyuka Chimonyo and Cde Michael “Vhuu” Chakabva at the national heroes acre, Mnangagwa took a jab at the West.
“The Defence and promotion of Zimbabwe’s Independence and national interest is now our responsibility together. The form nature and strategies of our country’s detractors, sellouts and their appendages are clearly known,” said President Mnangagwa.
When President Mnangagwa administration took office, it detoxed it’s stance towards the West who were seemingly warming up to real engagement.
However, it seem President Mnangagwa administration scuppered the opportunity hence the disillusionment .

The late President Robert Mugabe would at every opportune attack the West for sponsoring regime change allegations most Western governments refuted.
