Gospel Musician, Tatenda Mahachi, will this Christmas spend time with children at a home as a symbol of showing love to one another.
The musician revealed this to this publication as he was discussing plans for Christmas.
“Christmas is time for sharing and celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. So it’s time to show love to one another. I will be spending time with the less privileged at a children’s home share gift sing for them to celebrate and bring Christmas mood in them. We are going to visit them to share the day with them to share my story in order to inspire. The holiday is time to rest take a break from our day to day routines have time to visit spend time with family and our loved ones,” he said.
He also took time to offer advice to Zimbabweans not to overspend during the festive season.
“My advice to people concerning the current economic situation is to spend wisely don’t take more than you can chew. Share the little you can afford, it’s ok to appreciate the life and that times are hard don’t forget there is tomorrow for you to face. Be on a budget don’t overspend,” he warned.
The Ndiregere hitmaker promised fireworks for 2020 saying that great things were lined up.
“2020 is going to be big got a new album coming in May and there will be collaborations to look forward to, both internationally and locally. Brace yourselves for an early song to carry people to the launch. New videos coming up and a live DVD recording will also come through. It’s a year l will also be going on tour to African countries like Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique etc. Regional collaborations are also coming up,” said Mahachi.
Mahachi’s last project was a single titled Victory which gave people an assurance that there is hope for them and that they will get through in life.
Apparently Mahachi is a former footballer who once was a goalkeeper for ZPC Kariba.
