This position is a specialized accounting role within the business units, primarily responsible for preparing accurate monthly financial statements for both statutory and management purposes. The individual in this role is accountable for delivering results through personal efforts.
- Prepare records up to the Trial Balance level.
- Review control accounts and perform reconciliations.
- Draft the income statement and balance sheet.

Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Management and Control Work within established systems to achieve the desired financial outcomes for a designated area of responsibility.
Data Collection and Analysis Collect and analyze data using predefined tools, methods, and formats, working independently to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
Data Management Assist in managing basic aspects of the data management system under the guidance of senior colleagues, ensuring efficient operation of essential data management elements to meet established outcomes.
Insights and Reporting Assist in preparing data-driven reports and analyses to support decision-making and business performance.
Document Preparation Organize and prepare detailed documents using various office software applications and technology. Additionally, gather and summarize data for special reports as needed.
Information and Business Advice Respond to queries from internal or external stakeholders, providing detailed information on complex processes and policies, and escalate issues as required for policy interpretation.
Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and best financial practices.
Operational Compliance Identify and report noncompliance instances within the team, escalating issues as appropriate according to organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory standards.
Personal Capability Building Enhance personal and professional skills by engaging in development activities, training, and coaching. Maintain external professional certifications, stay informed of industry changes, and participate in relevant educational opportunities and conferences to foster personal and professional growth.
