Afro jazz ace, Ashton ‘Mbeu’ Nyahora is to release a new song titled Moyo neRudo which is to be launched during the festive season.
The single features Rasun who came up with the hit ‘It’s so hard not to walk away.’
Mbeu’s manager Eugene Museredza said that the song is a festive song.
“The song is a festive song. The song is not yet out and I trust that not even you will share it.” Museredza said. The song has a reggae feel which has become Mbeu’s signature genre. It is about a boy who is proclaiming his love to a girl and is prepared to become a fool for her.
Mbeu comes in with his usual mellow voice whilst Rasun contrasts with a husky feel which makes the single a potential sing along.
The best part is that the song is produced by one of Zimbabwe’s most underrated but lethal producers named Kabon. Kabon has done most of Mbeu’s songs including Mavanga and Mudyandigere.
Meanwhile, it will be a hectic festive season for the Mavanga hit maker who is scheduled for performances in South Africa and locally.
Mbeu revealed to this publication that He will be South Africa for shows on Friday December 13 and 14. He will also be at Theatre In the Park after the South Africa Tour.
The former Tsvete lead singer’s Hatizvimire has been doing well and his rise to stardom continues.
