The State has officially decided to decline prosecution in the cyberbullying case filed by musician Mudiwa Hood against DJ Ollah 7, following a formal withdrawal of charges by Hood.
The decision comes after both DJ Ollah 7 and rapper Holy Ten issued public apologies on Sunday, prompting the withdrawal of the case.
Court documents indicate that Mudiwa Hood submitted official affidavits on Monday morning, formally terminating the legal proceedings.

DJ Ollah 7, who had been scheduled to appear in court, was cleared before the plea phase, with the case dismissed following the late developments.
In a detailed statement shared via his Facebook platform, DJ Ollah 7 publicly apologized to multiple figures in the entertainment industry who had been targeted during his podcast interviews.
He began by offering a direct apology to Ambassador Uebert Angel, and extended his contrition to Mudiwa Hood, Winky D, media personality Mama Vee, Kimberly Richards, and artist Voltz JT.
The DJ made a clear commitment to refrain from allowing personal attacks on his platform in the future.
His apology was seen as an effort to mend relationships after the controversial interview with rapper Holy Ten, which had sparked widespread backlash.
In a statement made outside the Magistrate’s Court, DJ Ollah 7’s legal team confirmed that the State had declined to prosecute the case, which was further supported by Mudiwa Hood’s withdrawal of the charges.
The lawyers emphasized that DJ Ollah 7, as a journalist, had not committed any legal offense, and there was no case against him. They chose not to comment on other individuals involved in the case, focusing solely on Ollah 7’s role in the matter.
One of his attorneys remarked, “There is no offense that he committed as a journalist. This case concerns Ollah 7 and his actions only.”
In his own comments, DJ Ollah 7 expressed relief over the resolution of the case, stating that he felt stronger after the experience. He shared that being freed from the legal battle was a positive outcome and a lesson for him moving forward.
