Zimbabwe Lady Sables, Munya Mhonda has praised his charges who are currently camped in Harare for their commendable work ethic.
In an interview with Bustop TV, Mhonda said the ladies are physically geared up for the upcoming challenge.
“I am very happy with the effort and work ethic of the ladies thus far. Physically the ladies have been working ha rd. A combination of cardio and strength work, alternating with skills. The dust field we managed to secure whilst substandard for a national team has given us the isolation from distractions and COVID-19.”
The Zimbabwe coach also said that the confidence in the camp is high.
“The confidence in the camp/ team keeps growing with the addition of foreign based players and this being our 2nd camp together we beginning to understand what and where we need to be to be successful.”
Zimbabwe will face Uganda for two tests on July 14 and 18 respectively at the Kyadondo Rugby Grounds in Kampala Uganda.
